Artist Statement
“I’ve been singing as long as I can remember. Growing up I was in church choir and was invited to join the Toronto Boys Choir. Obviously too far for a kid from Lansing, Michigan. I sang in our high school choir, spent two summer at Interlochen, in the chamber choir at the University of Michigan and even started out as a vocal performance major at MSU. Then, teaching called me. I’ve been teaching Social Studies and or Science for 24 years now and when I can I love to play guitar and sing at gigs in public.”
