Alcott Center
Artist Statement
Alcott Center, a program of the Kalamazoo non-profit, Community Living Options, supports adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness through volunteerism, socialization, arts and crafts, music and movement, nature exploration, and wellness.
They have created a community art project called: “Signs of Peace,” which features their work and the work of over 20 community partners on what “peace” and “community” mean to them.
