Artist Statement
“This series was inspired by houseplants and cut flowers during the cold grey winter. Over the span of many months, Charlotte drew, painted and colored various plants around her home. Each piece is created from a real plant, with the mood changing based on how she was feeling at the time. While some are bright, cheerful, and expressive, others are detailed, precise and calm. Plant Study was a fun way to stay entertained over the winter, so please enjoy it during this Spring Art Hop! Cheers”
