Artist Statement
Recovery Institute is a local community of peers embracing multiple pathways of recovery, specializing in mental health, substance-use recovery, and personal development and empowerment through connection, networking, and person-centered support. Established in 2006, Recovery Institute continues to thrive and expand services that uplift and inspire community collaborate, restoration, and healing. The Big Room is a peer-run drop-in and community resource center and R.I.’s newest development at our new location at: 123 S. Westnedge Ave, on the corner of Westnedge and Academy.
