Artist Statement
Willa Kuttner is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Kalamazoo. She studied fine art at KVCC throughout high school and studied film at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan in 2022/23. her work expands across mediums including acrylic painting, photography, sculpture, watercolor jewelry design and writing/performing music. the content of her work is deeply informed by the natural world, its crossover with the internal landscape, and all the absurdity in between. Additionally, she runs a small side hustle painting portraits of peoples pets.
