Sara Rio Ceramics
Artist Statement
Sara Rio is an artist located in Kalamazoo, MI. After earning her Bachelors degree from Western Michigan University in 2015 in fine arts, she now spends her time running a small business making, exhibiting, and selling her ceramic art. She also teaches workshops on the art of fermentation. She describes her work as an exploration of modern interpretations to classic timeless wares. Her studio is located at Jerico in Kalamazoo, MI
