Morgan Lutz – WMU Student Exhibit
Artist Statement
Morgan Lutz is an artist currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting at Western Michigan University’s Gwen Frostic School of Art. Inspired by her childhood and family experiences, Morgan’s work often focuses on concepts of nostalgia, cycles and repetition; whether it be the persistent mark of trauma stamped upon generations of family, or beloved relics of the past. Morgan’s work has been shown in various exhibitions throughout the state of Michigan, including Holland, Kalamazoo and Lansing.
