Renee Szostek
Artist Statement
Renée grew up in Portage, and then left to attend college and graduate school. She has been interested in art all her life. She won a poster design contest in fourth grade, and attended a summer art camp in junior high at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. She enjoys drawing, painting, calligraphy, and photography. Her art has been exhibited at various galleries and exhibitions including the West Michigan Area Show at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, the Kalamazoo Nature Center, HMVC Gallery New York, and the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.
