Artist Statement
In her ceramic’s studio, Sue gives life to the creatures of her imagination. Drawing from her love of toys, cartoons, and folk art, her creations blend whimsy with a touch of darkness, embodying both creepiness and cuteness. Sue believes in the power of friendly monsters to help us confront our fears and embrace life’s shadows. Through her art, she aims to provoke laughter and remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. Each piece Sue creates is a unique expression of her creativity, crafted with care and individuality.
