Artist Statement
Betty Hamilton is a Michigan-based figurative artist working in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Her work explores sensuality, femininity, and the female gaze through expressive depictions of the female form. She has exhibition work in regional and national exhibitions and continues to develop a body of work that celebrates female sexuality and challenges stigma surrounding women’s desire and self-expression
