Anastasia Vague
Artist Statement
Anastasia is a self-taught artist whose collage work is heavily influenced by the themes of nature in juxtaposition with the divine feminine. A lover of history, Anastasia hopes to evoke a sense of the past in her pieces. Collage has been a part of her life for decades, but it was only during the pandemic, while processing the death of her sister, that Anastasia decided to make art a more central part of her life. All of her work is analog: cut and pasted by hand, and all material sourced straight from vintage books.
