Artist Statement
“No Life Like This Again” by Alisha Richardson is a mixed media traditional art series celebrating the depth and temporary nature of the human experience. Each piece is inspired by the artist’s own life, showcasing the beauty of nature and music intertwined with the complexities of our emotions.
The series explores a variety of mediums, including ink as the primary medium, used alongside colored pencil, gouache, and metallic foils. Also on display will be the artist’s sketchbook and various work-in-progress sketches of the final pieces to highlight the behind the scenes process of creating art.
