Anastasia Vague
Artist Statement
Anastasia is a self-taught collage artist. She’s inspired by nature, history and the divine feminine. All her works are cut and pasted by hand, she never uses digital or ai generated work. Collage has been a life-long passion for Anastasia, however she really honed her craft during the pandemic, while looking for a theraputic outlet after her younger sister passed away in 2020. She strives to create works that are anti-didactic, and allow the viewer to ascribe their own meaning and story to each piece.
