Artist Statement
Color and Texture matters
I am a woman who weaves cloth. Even the smallest scrap of handwoven fabric, whether my own or another weaver’s, is too precious to throw away. For many years, a bin in the corner of my sewing room has been collecting these scraps left over from previous projects. A goldmine of inspiration. Here they are pieced together and are singing to each other and to us with color and texture.
