Artist Statement
As a painter, I would describe myself as an Abstract Realist in search of a new aesthetic. My work is inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, who stimulated me to draw and paint, from nature in oil and acrylic. I have incorporated into my work continuous and semi-continuous lines which follow light moves within them. They create a dynamic of movement like warped time and space. I encourage people to break artistic boundaries contrary to the norms of the contemporary art world that we might have a renaissance of it; to elaborate on tradition and not abolish it.
