Artist Statement
Dennis “HD” Faurot has had a camera in his hands for over six decades. The first camera he held was a Kodak Brownie, followed by his Dad’s Argus C3. Over the years, the cameras have changed from an Olympus, 35 mm (bought used), a Yasika, Minolta, Fugi, but one aspect has always held constant, his love of photography. Today, the camera he holds in his hands is his dream camera, a Nikon. His photography collections focus on nature, structure, and life. Nature is Heaven on Earth. The Design of Repetition, Symmetry, and Freeform. The Wildness and Stillness of Life.
