Felix Sunflower (they/he)

Felix Sunflower (they/he) is a predominantly self-taught artist based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. His experiences as a queer, transsexual, and neurodivergent creature inform many of his artworks, and he tends to focus on themes of growth, death, rebirth, and love. Transformation and liminality are often present in his work, as he explores what it means to embrace the things that make one monstrous and alive. Despite – or perhaps because of – this, play is also an important constant in Felix’s work and life. It is imperative that he can remain silly.
