Go! Afterschool
Artist Statement
Go! After School’s free painting program focuses on values. Students in 6th-12th grade are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone in their art and jump right into an acrylic painting of still lives. Each week they work on two paintings, culminating in a final project that takes multiple sessions and combines all the perspective, shading, and other skills they have learned over the course.
