Artist Statement
Join us for three fantastic After Hop concerts this summer for Music in the Plaza! Each concert will be performed from 7:30 – 9 pm.
The Haymarket Plaza is part of the Downtown Commons Area, purchase a drink and food from any participating downtown Kalamazoo restaurant and enjoy it on the Plaza!
There is no rain site for Music in the Plaza. If we experience inclement weather the concert will be canceled by 2 pm the same day.
Performer: Grace Theisen is an Americana/Blues artist originally from Kalamazoo, who harnesses the spirit of collaboration in every venture she puts her heart into, and this band comes together out of that very spirit. Grace’s love for music started in childhood here in Kalamazoo where her inspiration came from a variety of singers like Patty Griffin, Alison Krauss, Billy Joel, BB King, and Bonnie Raitt.
