Iris Lubbert
Artist Statement
A former public servant turned artist in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Iris Lubbert creates original painted works in a cozy home studio, usually with music playing and a warm drink in hand. Her style is bold, whimsical, and full of color, often inspired by ordinary moments reimagined through a playful lens. Iris makes art to connect—with the hope that each piece offers a small moment of delight, wonder, or peace to those who see it.
