Artist Statement
Although Jenna Ruddell’s creativity dates back to her high school years making scrapbooks and crafty gifts for her sports buddies, paper crafting is not the only medium she enjoys working in. Jewelry making, soldering, canvas/amulet building, water coloring, and embroidery are all adventures she has taken, learned, and continues to include in her work. Making journals allows Jenna to combine many of these into one project with the covers, the signature wraps, binding types, and page designs she gets to enjoy all the things she appreciates.
