Artist Statement
Joy and Aerick Burton, dancers, artists, as well as co-founders and directors of Breakin’ Ballet All Styles Dance Company, have collaborated to create a mixed media piece – “Your Love is my Wings” which incorporates a photograph of them performing their choreography, combined with digital media. This piece represents love’s ability to transform, lift and carry us, while we learn to fly.
