Artist Statement
“I’ve traded my chef’s apron for an artist’s palette. My work is bold, colorful and filled with emotion. Working intuitively using a kaleidoscope of mediums, acrylics, pastels, mark making tools and monoprints. Starting without a plan I create layers in my work to reveal the textures and depth so the viewer can feel the finished piece. As I am capturing the essence of my world through art, each piece mirrors the vibrant textures and hues of my life- be it the profound depths of my garden or the ever-evolving tapestry of the world.”
