Artist Statement
Lisa’s work is a mix of plein air and studio work. She sometimes immerses herself in nature so that her paintings gather the energy of the woods, the waves, the sky. At other times she is holed up in her studio working on huge paintings of Lake Michigan or the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic.
