Michael Fortin
Artist Statement
Michael Fortin has been working with glass for more than 25 years. Specializing today in traditional furnace glassblowing he creates colorful, one-of-a-kind, functional and decorative works. Locally his work is well known and recognizable as he made more that 1,000 glass steins for several local breweries. Michael enjoys sharing his craft through Avolio GlassWerks gallery, numerous art fairs, and occasional workshops.
