Olivia Stier
Artist Statement
Olivia is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Kalamazoo. She is currently getting her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in
photography from Western Michigan University. Olivia’s work explores grief, memory and the spaces in-between where the two intersect. Through series of portraiture, she gives an intimate look into the feelings of isolation, loneliness and detachment that comes from grieving.
