Artist Statement
Our young artists approach their work with curiosity, imagination, and a sense of play. This collection features both individual works and a large-scale collaborations. Each offering a glimpse into how children see, explore, and interpret the world around them. Through watercolor, students experimented with color blending, brush movement, and the magic of watching pigment flow and transform on paper. The collaborative weaving invites a different kind of creativity:connection. Working together, the children explored texture, pattern, and rhythm, contributing their own materials and choices to a shared piece. The result is a tapestry of many hands and ideas, highlighting the beauty of community, cooperation, and collective creation. Together, these works celebrate process over product, honoring the joy of young artists as they begin their creative journeys.
