Summer Rain
Artist Statement
Summer Rain endeavors to bridge the gap between natural and domestic spheres with her sculptures. Outlining the way these two separated realms belong to one another. Her sculptures mimic the colors, textures and pallets of landscape, aquatic and terrestrial. But they are created with steel and crocheted yarn, interweaving what is man-made and what is grown.
