The Queer Chorus of Kalamazoo
Artist Statement
The chorus is created by and for LGBT+ singers in the Kalamazoo area. The Queer Chorus of Kalamazoo (QCK) started in fall of 2024.Their mission is to enrich lives through harmonious expression, provide a comfortable singing environment free of judgement, and to support the exploration and possibilities of diverse voices. QCK is a community choir with no audition requirement — anyone of any experience level is welcome to join. They have performed at many local events including Kalamazoo and South Haven Pride Celebrations.
