Artist Statement
Vanessa is a Michigan native with a love for photography. Originally from Oakland County, her journey began during the COVID pandemic. Starting with agricultural and floral subjects, she gradually expanded her focus to include portrait and architectural photography. She’s now based in Kalamazoo and aims to capture the emotions that often go unseen, inviting viewers to connect with the world around them in a deeper way.
