About
Beowoof Provisions for Pets opened in 2003 in Hoboken, New Jersey. (We adopted our beautiful pup Lola in March of 2003–then decided that we wanted to spend more time with her, found an available commercial space to rent, renovated the space, and opened Beowoof that June!) (Oh, and then got our second pup, Zoë, to keep Lola company!)
We are truly a “Mom & Pop” pet store (Laura & Karl, in our case)—we love people and their pets, and do everything in our power to provide our customers with both information regarding pet care and nutrition, and a wide selection of healthy dog food, cat food, and treats for their “fur-babies” as well.
We closed our original, cherished store in Hoboken in 2020, having decided to move back to Karl’s hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan. We renovated a new space for Beowoof on the downtown Kalamazoo Mall, just past the historic State Theater; and opened our new store in April of 2020.
